At a loss
This band gives a lot more as an artistry and visionary through impactful sounds..
The infinite sightseeing to be s constant echo of pure replay value overlapping the same embracing of masterfully designed sounds to ceremonial events in lifelong legacies itself..
At a loss has a song titled Do You Still See Me The Same? promising a breathtaking spoken word section gathered to pinpoint the very same feelings to obtain the unfamiliar gutt-feeling of a stomach full of monarch butterflies.. as the introduction contains a sample from the film Juno released in 2007. The nostalgia and craft of it all is well put together
.. the band feels like a perfectly timed work of art to surface out of Lawrence, Kansas. This group has the captivating knowledge to construct its music and has been concurrent with the ongoing music in its own genre and creative depictions that is pushing boundaries beyond the music & art. Borderline nostalgic similarities balance with a completely new sound like nothing else within musicians..
At a loss has elongated a grand range of uniqueness as the emphatic Midwest screamo align with the creativeness & talents.

A: When I write I like to take the most meaningful parts of my life and put them on paper, It can be whatever I’m going through at the time and or moments I’ve kept with me. I use it as a form of therapy, i also hope it helps others with things they haven’t worked out in real life, To transcribe it through music and get it out through the sound of my voice.
Q:What’s captivating for each project or single.. the entire discography is greatly appreciated one after another.. are there any plans for more music?
A: We do have some songs in the chamber right now just working on making them sound better.
Q: What are some of the early memories of At a loss as a band?
A: Since we’ve only been in this band for a year i wish we had more complex stories to tell, In early stages it was really just all three of us in my basement talking about how we dreamt of meeting each other and playing a bunch of songs and eating pizza
Q: How did you guys form At a loss?
A: I had only been in lawrence for about two years and had no friends, I found sam on instagram and followed him expecting nothing, Than he followed me back and asked if i was looking for a band cause in my bio i had “Looking for a band” lol kinda cliche but I knew I’d attracted genuine people. A couple days later Sam and I had our first jam session. We played a couple of covers and felt very comfortable with each other, It was like finding a brother I had never met. On our third jam sesh Sam came to my house and I asked him if he had looked for any bassists, Sam looked at me and said “he’s on his way”. I was so confused cause we never talked about a bassist that much on top of that i had no idea who the guy was but he came over and turned to be another one of those brothers I was talking about.
PS. Thank you dylan for not only playing root notes we love you
Q: Do you guys have plans on releasing merchandise?
A: We have shirts out right now on big cartel, We want to print more but we’re looking for a professional printer that will do it. We just haven’t really reached out to anyone.
Q: Any inspirations that transcends into the band?
A: Not anyone exactly we just want to be us
Q: Can you name your more favorable artists and musicians?
Could Be Better.
A band of emotion-fueled derailment within time from the escape included in this overall experience as the music is played. Amongst this, the band has continuously met its praise from the underground nature and works like the May & September Demos. The continuity has engraved the visual and auditory focus while the artwork still remains a major part of it all. The screams and instruments played altogether become soothing and completely impregnable as each song captivates and brings enlightenment into the listener’s taste or choice of genre. In this case, it is emo with such dedicated frequencies that can produce an overall intensity as practical as aural and binary, nearing meditative perspectives. The crossing of art as an embodiment alongside the atmosphere this band has shown is very influential and can inspire all sorts of ages within numerous human beings with a capability of having a strong mind towards relating in any way, shape, or form.

Amerakin Overdose
This band has the unique sound within the realms of nu-metal, with drums perfectly timed and the correct vocal sufficiency for it to ease the moments within psychology embarking a greatly impactful horror in the likeness of a thrilling role in music.. the amount of vicious and masterfully designed sounds for the sake of greatness is compelling. Amerakin Overdose is from Oregon and has a suitable image for each band member while wearing the masks of their choice that brings the imaginative thoughts & concepts into solidity. The monumental frequencies this band has created is groundbreakingly creative alongside the merchandise of this band as it comes against all the odds in music and even outside of the musical experience Amerakin Overdose are well rounded in multiple aspects and are fully immersive in the visual aspect. Aside from opening for Korn, Powerman 5000, & Five Finger Death Punch and others such as Static X and All That Remains… although alongside this and containing moreover the criteria of the style it has obtained to become its own hallmark.. It has a potent sense to standout with originality and leave a legacy of a lifetime within multiple instances beyond.
Q: How’d you guy’s come up with the name Amerakin Overdose?
A: I came up with the name back in 2008. I watched a lot of Youtube and played a lot of online video games and America was constantly being criticized for how we are always at war, and getting involved in other countries matters and how we had this reputation of always trying to be the biggest baddest dog in the house. I loved the idea of using American in the name of a band. I wrote the name down on paper with a ton of other words. The word Overdose came up and I thought what a perfect way to take the attitude and rep we have as Americans and combine it with Overdose like we overdid it and bam we had a killer name.
Q: What are some early memories of first getting into music?
A: I was in middle school and singing along in my room to my favorite bands. I recall plugging my desktop computer with my stereo system and hooking up a microphone to it. I would learn the lyrics to my favorite bands and songs and sing along trying my best to get as close as possible to sounding like my favorite singers. My dad also gave me his acoustic guitar so I would look up tabs to songs I liked and would teach myself to play along to my favorite songs. Some early bands I recall were Nirvana, Korn, Mudvayne, Marilyn Manson, Metallica, Pantera.
Q: What bands do you guys listen to amongst music of other genres?
A: My girlfriend has got me into a lot of southern California reggae. Dirty Heads, Common Kings to name a couple of them. I dig it. I love the vibe and the festivals are chill. I love all music though. Pop, Country, Rap, Reggae, Rock anything and everything if it sounds good it sounds good.
Q: Do the masks symbolize certain points of Amerakin Overdose?
A: I would say they symbolize how I am feeling at the time of creating the mask. I try to get the mask to fit my mood or something I am going through or how the music is making me feel at the time. I am very visual so for my it is important to not only have a sound buy a visual aspect to what we do.
Q: What are your goals as a collective within the genre’s of the band?
A: We want to keep spreading the word about Amerakin Overdose across the globe. We want to continue to release new music in 2025 and possibly tour. We would love for some day to be able to do Amerakin Overdose full time as a career.
Q: Any memories of a performance onstage you’d like to share?
A: Last year I fell off the stage. We were playing an outdoor festival at night. There were some tall PA speakers on the ground. I stepped off the stage onto the speakers to get closer to the crowd. When I was moving around there was a gap between a set of speakers and mid singing I fell and luckily caught myself as I was dropping. There is crowd footage of when it happened but I popped right back up. It looks funny on video because it happened so fast between dropping and catching myself back up. It was a shit show because we had many technical difficulties, including a band member who was high on shrooms. He fell down mid set as well. We look back and laugh at the show/performance but it was lessons learned for sure.
Q: Any favorable artists that may have impacted Amerakin Overdose throughout the years?
A: Way too many to name honestly. I think the obvious ones would be Slipknot, Mudvayne, Pantera, Rob Zombie/White Zombie, Nine Inch Nails, Marilyn Manson, Korn, Metallica, Gwar.
Q: Is there any particular lyrics you’d like to highlight or explain for the fans?
A: I like to leave the lyrics for fan interpretation so they can make it their own. What I can say is if you listen to our new album “Artificial Infection” the sequencing was done on purpose and it takes you on a rollercoaster of emotions and it goes from darkness and chaos to a light at the end of the tunnel. There is most definitely a theme to the whole album and everything within the album was done with intention.
Q: What can fans expect from the upcoming album?
A: So we just released our new album “Artificial Infection” in July. We don’t have plans of releasing a new album anytime soon. We plan to release new music constantly in 2025. So we will be releasing singles but no plans for an album. Eventually we will likely combine the songs and put them out on an album but we will see. As for the new music , you can expect what we have done in the past on a much more elevated level. On the heavy songs, we are getting even heavier, we’ve got our first acoustic song we’ve ever done. We did a cover of a huge pop song from the 90s. We are really focusing on melody and harmonies on this new music. The band will continue to evolve in our sound but with the Amerakin Overdose sound fans have come to love.
